1. Who We Are

InstantCast is developed and operated by Dr. Mohamed Morshedy, an independent developer (referred to in this policy as "we," "us," or "our").

2. What InstantCast Does

InstantCast is a media casting application for Android devices. It allows users to wirelessly cast and stream content from a smartphone or tablet to compatible display devices such as smart TVs, Chromecast devices, DLNA-compatible displays, and Roku devices.

The app supports casting of:

Videos (local and online)
Audio files and music streams
Images and photo collections
IPTV streams
Web-based video content

InstantCast also supports screen mirroring, allowing users to broadcast their device screen to a connected display. The app does not require registration, login, or account creation. It is fully anonymous by design.

3. Age Requirement

InstantCast is intended for use by individuals 13 years of age or older. The app is a general-audience utility application and is not designed, marketed, or directed at children under 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected information from a user under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has used InstantCast and provided us with information, please contact us at visionaryclub.tech@gmail.com.

Users between the ages of 13 and 17 should review this policy together with a parent or guardian before using the app.

4. Information We Collect

4.1 Information You Provide Directly

We do not ask you to provide any personal information. InstantCast does not require you to create an account, sign in, or submit your name, email address, age, or any other identifying information.

4.2 Information Collected Automatically via Firebase Analytics

We use Google Firebase Analytics — a third-party analytics tool provided by Google LLC — to understand how users interact with the app. Firebase Analytics automatically collects certain technical data, which may include:

Device model and operating system version
App version and build number
Approximate country or region (derived from IP address; the IP address itself is anonymized)
Device language and timezone settings
Session duration and frequency of use
Screens visited within the app and general interaction events
App installation source (e.g., Google Play Store)
Network connection type (Wi-Fi or mobile data)
A Firebase Installation ID — a non-personal, app-level identifier unique to an installation, not linked to your identity

Note: Firebase Analytics does not collect your name, email, phone number, or any content you cast. All analytics data is aggregated and used only to improve the app.

4.3 Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect any of the following:

Names, email addresses, or phone numbers
Account credentials or passwords
Precise GPS location data
Content of what you cast, stream, or mirror
Voice recordings or audio captured by the microphone
Photos or media files stored on your device
Contact lists or social connections
Payment or financial information

5. How We Use Your Information

The limited technical data collected through Firebase Analytics is used solely for the following purposes:

App improvement: Understanding which features are used most helps us prioritize improvements and fix problems.
Performance monitoring: Detecting crashes, errors, or slow behavior so we can fix them quickly.
Usage analysis: Understanding how users navigate the app so we can improve the user experience.
Compatibility: Knowing which device models and Android versions are used most helps us ensure broad compatibility.

We do not use your information for:

Targeted or personalized advertising
Selling data to third parties
Creating user profiles or tracking individuals
Marketing communications
Any purpose other than those listed above

6. App Permissions Explained

InstantCast requests certain Android permissions to provide its functionality. Below is a plain-language explanation of each permission and why it is required:

Note: The Location permission on Android is a system-level technical requirement for Wi-Fi device scanning. InstantCast does not track or record your device's location. No location data is stored or sent anywhere.

7. Third-Party Services – Firebase Analytics

The only third-party service currently integrated into InstantCast is Google Firebase Analytics, provided by Google LLC (Mountain View, California, USA).

7.1 What Firebase Collects

As described in Section 4.2, Firebase Analytics collects aggregated, anonymized technical data about app usage. It does not collect your personal identity.

7.2 Our Privacy Configuration

We have taken the following steps to minimize data collection:

Advertising personalization is disabled in Firebase
The Android Advertising ID (GAID) collection is disabled for all users
Data sharing for Google advertising products is disabled
IP addresses collected by Firebase are anonymized
We do not enable Firebase Crashlytics, Remote Config, or any additional Firebase products that transmit personal identifiers

7.3 Google's Own Privacy Policy

Firebase Analytics is subject to Google's own privacy practices. You can review Google's Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

Firebase's data collection practices are described at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

7.4 Opting Out of Analytics

You can disable analytics data collection at any time from within the app settings. Additionally, on your Android device, you can limit ad tracking under: Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID.

8. Your Privacy Rights (GDPR & Global)

Depending on your country of residence, you may have specific privacy rights under applicable law. These typically include:

Right of access: The right to obtain confirmation of whether we process your personal data and to receive a copy of that data.
Right to rectification: The right to have inaccurate personal data corrected.
Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"): The right to request that we delete your personal data under certain circumstances.
Right to restriction: The right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data in certain situations.
Right to object: The right to object to the processing of your personal data where we rely on legitimate interests as the legal basis.
Right to data portability: The right to receive your personal data in a structured, machine-readable format.
Right to withdraw consent: Where processing is based on your consent, the right to withdraw that consent at any time without affecting prior processing.

Please note that because InstantCast collects very limited data and does not require account registration, there may be no personal data associated with you in our records. In that case, we will inform you accordingly.

9. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended, gives you certain rights regarding your personal information, including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.

InstantCast does not sell or share personal information as defined under the CCPA. Because the app does not collect directly identifying information and does not require an account, we typically hold no personal information tied to an individual California resident. 10. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share personal information with third parties for advertising, marketing, or data brokering purposes.

The only third party that may receive technical analytics data is Google LLC (via Firebase Analytics), as described in Section 7. This data is aggregated and anonymized.

10.1 Situations Where Disclosure May Occur

We may disclose information in the following limited circumstances:

Legal compliance: If required by applicable law, court order, or governmental authority.
Safety: If disclosure is necessary to protect the safety or rights of any person.
Business transfer: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, users will be notified and this Privacy Policy will continue to apply.

11. Advertising (Planned for Future Versions)

InstantCast currently contains no advertisements. We plan to introduce optional advertising in a future version of the app. When this happens, we commit to the following:

We will update this Privacy Policy before advertising is introduced.
Advertisements will be served only through ad networks that are certified as compliant with Google Play policies.
We will not use advertising identifiers (GAID) to target or profile users without their consent, where required.
We will provide users with clear options to opt out of personalized advertising where applicable.

We encourage users to revisit this policy when future updates are released.

12. In-App Purchases (Planned for Future Versions)

InstantCast does not currently offer any in-app purchases. We plan to introduce optional paid features in a future version. When this happens:

All purchases will be processed through the Google Play billing system, which has its own privacy and security protections.
We will not directly collect or store payment card information.
This Privacy Policy will be updated to reflect any new data practices introduced by billing features.

13. Data Security

We take data security seriously and implement reasonable and appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect any data that is processed in connection with InstantCast.

Our security practices include:

We collect the minimum data necessary for the app to function (data minimization principle).
We do not maintain servers or databases that store your personal information — there is no backend server associated with InstantCast accounts because no accounts exist.
Analytics data transmitted to Firebase is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS/HTTPS protocols.
Access to Firebase Analytics dashboards is restricted to the developer only.

While we strive to protect your information, please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but commit to promptly addressing any known security incidents.

14. Data Retention

Because InstantCast does not collect personal information directly, we do not maintain personal data records with any defined retention schedule.

For analytics data processed by Firebase Analytics:

Google Firebase retains aggregated analytics event data for a period of up to 14 months by default, after which it is automatically deleted.
We have configured the shortest available retention period in our Firebase console settings, consistent with our data minimization approach.

15. International Data Transfers

InstantCast is available to users worldwide. Firebase Analytics is operated by Google LLC, which is headquartered in the United States. When you use InstantCast, analytical data may be processed in the United States or any other country where Google operates data centers.

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom: Google is certified under applicable data transfer frameworks and implements Standard Contractual Clauses to ensure that data transfers from the EU/UK to the USA meet applicable legal requirements under GDPR and UK GDPR.

For users in other regions: By using InstantCast, you acknowledge that your data may be processed in countries outside your own, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our app, our practices, or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will:

Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
Notify users through an in-app notice or update message when a significant change is made.

We encourage you to review this page periodically. Your continued use of InstantCast after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
